On Jolie's last day of preschool her teachers gave her a special binder filled with pictures from her activities over the school year. The first page had a side-by-side spread with a first day picture and an end of year picture. All of us were amazed at the difference in Jolie. She really grew up this year. I miss that innocent, sweet, still toddler-like girl; but this growing up, four-year-old big girl still says things that crack me up. The difference in her between these two photos isn't as striking as the ones in her binder, but I love looking at the difference in just one year.
Kindergarten for Mierae has been a big year. It's quite the leap to go from a carefree child to a serious student. I'm glad Mierae still loves nothing better than to play, but she has made so much academic progress this year. I am so proud of her. She finished off Kindergarten reading at a 2nd grade level and got a medal at her awards assembly for being on the effort honor roll. I hope I can help her achieve the great things she can dream.

They are both such beautiful sweet girls! Wow, Mierea is reading at a 2nd grade level, that is awesome!
They are growing up too fast!
They really do look more grown up after only a year!
Macy just had her last day of kindergarten today and like you said, it'a amazing to look back and see how much they have grown in just one year. It's kind of been a sad day for her and me both. For her, she's sad about leaving her teacher, and me, I'm sad about my little girl growing up! Mierae and Jolie are such beautiful girls! It's fun to see how much they have changed!! That is impressive about Mierae's reading! She's not only beautiful, but smart too! I'm sure having a great mom helps too! Have a great summer! Enjoy having all the kids home and good luck.....right?!?!?
I can't believe how much your girls are growing up!!! They are so cute, love all those smiles, it's contagious!
Aww - you have the sweetest girls, glad school has been such a good experience for both of them. Those pictures are fantastic - I love the idea of taking an "end of school" picture!
