A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
I love looking back at photos. I love what I see in them that I didn't see before. And I love the story they tell about life right then, because it will change the very next day.
In this photo Mierae is wearing a leotard. She loves to dress up and changes her outfit at least three times a day. She has always loved wearing headbands, but she tends to more often lately because her bangs are growing out and get in her face more. She loves to draw and write and is learning to spell better. I love how she spelled "tertle" and drew long, curly hair so we'd know she drew a girl turtle. :)
Jolie is wearing her "Dora outfit." She's worn it for probably two years, but it still fits somehow. Her hair is down, and probably not even combed, because she hates getting it done. I have to beg or bribe her if I really want to do it. Jolie is also holding Henrik. Even though I ask her multiple times a day not to pick him up, she always does. She will bug him and bug him until I either get after her or he cries.
Henrik is smiling. He is such a happy guy. His arms are a blur because he's always moving. He is wearing a cousin's hand-me-downs, which I love. He loves to be around when the house is active and buzzing. And he really does adore his sisters (even though he loves his mama more!). We are so blessed to have him in our family.
I love that the kids are looking at me...and smiling!
It's moments like this on a crazy afternoon that make me sigh...and smile.

My favorite thing is the hair on Mierae's turtle. Such a cute picture!
So cute! And it is HARD to get a picture with every kid smiling, so good job. :)
