Spring

The first day of Spring, we, along with a lot of our friends, spent the evening enjoying free Italian ices at Rita's.


We've had picnics away,


and picnics at home;


visits to the playground;



games on our lawn with the neighbors,


and Eric grew out a goatee as long as he could stand it. :)


We also enjoyed a short trip together to Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky during Mierae's Spring Break.


On our trip we ate out,


had pillow fights,




did a lot of hiking (Eric and Robyn), and a lot of piggy-backing (Mierae and Jolie),



rode on a bus,



explored caves,




looked up at the stars, and slept all together in a 2-man tent...


...and never wanted to go home (Mierae and Jolie--Eric and I were very anxious to go home and have our kids go to bed at a decent hour!)

It was fun making the memories.
