Okay, I got tagged, so I hope I can come up with some things most people don't know about me. Here goes:
#1 I am a perfectionist. Some people may not guess this about me, but I've discovered it's true. Eric makes fun of me because I will move something a fraction of an inch if it isn't quite aligned or in the "right" place. I drive myself crazy sometimes trying to get something just right, taking forever to get it done, but I just can't seem to let things go!
#2 I am a night owl. Poor Eric is definitely a morning person, and this has been hard from the start for him. But, no matter how tired I am ALL day long, it hits about 10:00 p.m. and I am wide awake and ready to go (well, usually!).
#3 I am a chocoholic. I'm guessing most people DO know this about me, but it's got to go on the top 6. I love dark chocolate especially. I think I have something chocolate every single day. A dessert isn't any good unless it has chocolate in it (except for toffee blondies--YUM). I think the only thing chocolate that I don't particularly like is chocolate cheesecake.
#4 I love meat. That may be a strange thing to say, but I'm afraid it's true. Don't get me wrong, I still love fruits and vegetables, but a meal is not truly complete without meat. I love steak especially. I loved having a big pot roast dinner on Sundays growing up, and I guess meat is my comfort food in a way. Mierae is just like me--she'll eat up all the meat on her plate and ask for more, even if everything else remains uneaten!
#5 It is my life's ambition to be able to bake the best chocolate chip cookie. Okay, maybe not "life's ambition," but I really have been searching for a while. Even when I was little, I loved chocolate chip cookies. We have a recording of me at like 18 months saying, "chocolate chip cookies--I want it!!!" I used to be able to bake great cookies in Utah, but I can't seem to perfect it in Ohio. I've heard the secret is using Crisco, but I have yet to try it out....
#6 Of all the places in the world I would LOVE to visit, among the top is Prince Edward Island. I loved watching "Anne of Green Gables" growing up, and my cousin Jenny and I said one day we would go to PEI. Eric wanted to make that dream come true for our 5th anniversary, but I think it'll have to remain a dream for a while.
