One Fine Day

Apparently today is National I Love to Write Day. (Don't ask me who comes up with these things, or how anyone even knows about them...) Since I love to write :) I decided it was time to post again. Today is a good day for it too. Today was one of those days where you sit back and think, "I really had a good day." How many days do we really think that? Well, today, we got to sleep in a little to start (even though it was only because our kids were so tired from going to bed so late that they didn't wake us up early). I baked muffins for breakfast (okay, more like brunch by the time they were done). I did a load of laundry (now that is a big thing!). We had friends over to play in the early afternoon and then in the late afternoon (fun for all of us!). The girls napped at the same time (well, for at least 10 minutes). I vacuumed (that's another really big deal). And I had dinner ready when Eric walked in the door (um, that's happened like once before). So, WOW, a GREAT day for me. We took the girls grocery shopping after that and then to Target (and I'm sure Kristen would say any day that you go to Target is a good day). And as we were checking out at Target, Eric found a coupon we could use right then that we didn't even know we had. Don't you love it when that happens? Now the girls are even both in bed and it's not even 11:00 yet! :) And to make it even better, we ate brownies and ice cream left over from Eric's b-day (don't worry--the brownies were in the freezer). No day can be a bad day when it ends with a brownie. :)
