Our festivities this year weren't anything special, but we did have the addition of being in the know about Chipotle's "BOO-rito" special. If you wear aluminum foil in any way or as any part of your Halloween costume, you're a "burrito" and can get a free burrito at Chipotle on Halloween night. Eric and I decided to go for it, despite the fact that Mierae hadn't had a nap that day and wasn't in the greatest mood. She fell asleep after less than a minute in the car, and Chipotle is less than two minutes away!
Eric and I enjoyed our burritos at home while Mierae slept on the couch. She woke up SUPER grumpy, but, we still think it was worth it. More Halloween candy that night at our apartment complex common room cheered her up enough (and kept her up late enough too!). I think soup and breadsticks is officially being replaced, at least while we live somewhere where there's a Chipotle! Maybe it won't be as warm and fuzzy, but I can't turn down this new tradition!

yay! welcome back to the blogger world. I've missed you and your cute family. Looks like you've been having fun this fall!
I miss everyone being home for Halloween too! I remember the soup and breadsticks every year. Good memories :)
Your Halloween pictures are so cute! I totally thought that Mierae was Jolie when I saw the pictures of Mierare in the pumpkin costume. They look like they could be twins!
