Project Gratitude: Day 11

Today I was thankful for lots of little things:

Henrik bent my glasses this morning. No, I wasn't thankful for that. But as I was trying to bend them back into place and they broke, I was thankful that when I bought them, I got two pairs!

I was thankful to be at stake conference today. I felt some overwhelming feelings about the youth of the Church and about the gospel, and was inspired to raise my children to be missionaries.

I was thankful to a girl at stake conference for chatting with me in the mothers' lounge and complimenting me on the names of my children.

I was thankful to have snacks to eat on the way home from stake conference when it was past lunchtime and we were starving.

I was thankful that I got a little nap while I was feeding Oliver in the afternoon (all while Eric washed dishes and took the other kids on a walk).

I was thankful that Eric got a nap as well, so I didn't feel too guilty. :)

I was thankful for Eric coming up to me out of the blue and putting his arm around me and rubbing my back. Seriously probably my favorite part of the day.

I was so thankful to hear Mierae's beautiful laugh when we were gathered for scriptures and prayer tonight.

And I was VERY thankful that all the kids (well, the three oldest anyway) were all peacefully sleeping by 8:40 p.m.

I think I'm finally starting to get the idea of daily thanksgiving.
