Project Gratitude: Day 1

I have all kinds of wonderful aspirations in regards to honoring Thanksgiving all of November, but they seem to always get lost in Halloween clean-up and Christmas prep. So this month I'm hoping to post every day leading up to Thanksgiving about things I'm grateful for.

Always at the top of the list come these five:

I am so blessed to have such a loving, supportive, and kind husband. Eric is even more than I hoped for--the kind of man I didn't know I'd need, but realize how perfect he is for me each day as life happens.

My first-born teaches me so much. I'm grateful for her friendship, her love for her siblings, her hard work in school, and her creativity.

Little girl #2 is so giving--she readily shares anything with everyone. When she meets someone new, they automatically become her friend. She also loves her siblings and works hard at school. I'm grateful for her ready smile and desire to help.

It's no secret this big boy has me wrapped around his finger. I'm so grateful for his easy-going nature, his affection, and how content he is with just about anything. I love spending my days with him.

And this little guy is such a sweetheart. He'll sit contentedly while I'm busy in the kitchen or sending emails, and he gives the sweetest smiles and coos. Oh, we love having him in our family. I'm so grateful Heavenly Father sent him when He did.

I am so blessed to have my children. Even though being a parent is the hardest thing, I'm always so grateful to have my kids and to be learning what I am from them.

I am so grateful for my beautiful little family.
