One Month

My little baby is not so little anymore. At Henrik's one month doctor's visit he weighed in at 11 lbs 2 oz!! What a little tank. Our pediatrician commented on how I must make good milk. :)

The girls sure love their brother. It's been hard to try to get them to treat him like a newborn. Jolie picked him up once and dropped him on the floor. She loves to squeeze his face, hug him around the neck, and give him kisses.

Mierae also loves to pick him up. (I sorely chastised her about it one night when she took him off the couch, raced across the living room, and headed up the stairs. But the next night when he was screaming and my hands were covered in chicken, she picked him up again, and it was helpful.)

Throughout this last month I've had spit up in my hair, urine sprayed in my face, milk leaking onto my clothes, the same pajamas on for three days at a time, laundry coming out of my ears, and a baby in my arms.

And I've loved every minute.
