228/365

Before the Sister missionaries came over for dinner, we sat on the kitchen floor and took selfies. :)

I bore my testimony in Sacrament Meeting today about the theme in our stake training yesterday--knowing who we are: children of God. It's such a simple principle, but one that affects everything in our lives. I was grateful that I was prompted to share my thoughts and feelings. I took Oliver up with me and let him sit on Eric's lap on the stand while I was at the podium. :)

Tonight Jolie was so tired at bedtime that she couldn't stop crying or calm down. I finally came to her and picked her up and held her in the rocking chair in my room. I started to tell her a story about when she was a baby, and she immediately calmed down and was quiet. I told her about the time she was crying in her crib but I couldn't go and hold her because Mierae was on the toilet and had just started potty training. By the time I got to baby Jolie, she had stopped crying and fallen asleep on her own. Then I held Jolie in my arms and just sat and rocked her. It was a sweet moment. When I got up and put her in her bed, she was calm and went to sleep quickly.
