Jolie had her well-child doctor's visit this afternoon. I walked into the office with all four kids and a lady sitting in the waiting room announced to me, "You look like you're 12!" She couldn't believe I could possibly be the mother of four children. We sat just a few minutes before Eric came and met us. When I saw him come in, I most definitely did not feel 12, and I was very happy to be my mid-30's self with a handsome and successful husband, beautiful and healthy kids, and a lot of experience under my belt. :)

Eric took the boys back to the university for a reptile show while the girls stayed together at the doctor's office. I can't believe I didn't take a photo of Jolie today! Mierae put curlers in her hair last night, so her hair was still wavy and pulled up in a bow. And she had worn a pretty pink dress to school. The check-up was quick and easy, and then we headed out to meet up with the boys. When we found them, Henrik had no desire to see any more snakes or lizards. He told me, "I just want to run around!" And that he did, while occasionally looking out the windows after climbing yet another flight of stairs.

I feel like you do not look like you just got out of the 6th grade. That's a bit too young. Haha. Nice to look younger than you are, though! I don't love it when people think I am 16, but I just tell myself that it'll be great when I'm 50.
