Dear Family and Friends,
I
kept holding out for an updated family photo with our new addition
before sending out Christmas cards.... Since that didn't happen, you get
two cards in one sent with lots of love! Here are the highlights for each family member from
this year.
Eric
became Dr. Taylor in March and started his first full-time job as a
professor at Kent State University Stark. He worked two part-time jobs
at the beginning of the year, getting some good teaching experience. He
toured several state and national parks over the summer with the family,
and is now learning all about unions and retirement funds.
Robyn
said good-bye to a wonderful flute studio in Grove City in May. She
enjoyed spending the summer in Utah with family, and survived the road
trip back to Ohio being 8 months pregnant. She gave birth
to our fourth child in August and ran her first 5k three months later.
Mierae
started second grade at a new school, learned how to ride a bike, and
has read--and written--many stories and plays. She is a good little
mommy to her younger brothers, and has been a good helper around the
house.
Jolie
started
Kindergarten, is learning to read, and has done some great artwork this
year. She is loving being able to play with Henrik a little more, and
loves holding Ollie. She also kissed two boys this year. On the bus. Their names are Noah and Sam. :)
Henrik
really grew up this year--he discovered the joy of cars, balls and trains;
learned to talk; started going to Nursery at church; and won the
affection of countless family members and friends.
Oliver joined our
family in the midst of ultimate change. He has been a good, sweet baby
and is adored by his family, and in particular, his older brother.
We got just about everything we asked for this year!
Our wish list for next
year includes a mortgage, a dishwasher, a Wii, and a
happy, healthy family.
A very Merry Christmas to all!
Much love,
Eric, Robyn, Mierae, Jolie, Henrik and Oliver
