Artiste

This piece is entitled "My Family" in crayon by Mierae.

(From left to right: Mom, Jolie, Dad, Mierae. I love her signature "M" at the bottom.)

This second piece, done with acrylic paint, is entitled "M."

And finally a watercolor by the name of "Red." It's of Mom and Dad.

We'll be sure to keep you posted on the date of her first art show! :)

wow, you are brave... ACRYLIC? Watercolors, I can see. but acrylics? I guess when you are raising a lil Picas...a... then you gotta take risks.

Do you have a scanner?

We do have a scanner! (It's an all-in-one printer, scanner, copier. It's very handy.) Most of her artwork is done at school--I'm definitely not one to take risks when these things are concerned!! And you know what? It may not have been acrylic paint. :)

I love seeing what kids come up with. And the "M" at the bottom... it looks like she now has her famous signature down. It reminds me of a true artist.

Today at church Cloey showed me a picture she had drawn during Sacrament Meeting and I said, "Oh, that's cute." And she told me it was the lady who was sitting next to her and it truly looked like her, green dress, black earings, glasses and a purse. It was sooo cute. She even whispered to her to have her write her name on her paper so she could know her name and remember who it was. All during church. I was a little embarrassed since I didn't even know the lady but she was older and willing to play with Cloey. I'll have to scan in some of her art. I'm impressed and know that she didn't get her talent from me. I can't draw worth beans.
