For instance, she takes her kids to the sprinkler park (Bunny Gardens, according to Mierae) in Dublin, OH even though it is no longer summer and a bit chilly!
This doesn't stop Mierae and Jolie from running in the water and climbing on the rocks.
We even just went swimming with our friends the Rochas at our old apartment complex. The water was freezing, but we had fun basking in the shining sun (picture to follow, Robyn took off with the camera).
Robyn also gives her children plenty of creative time, such as letting them do paint and stickers in the kitchen. This is almost always followed by lots of "No, don't" and "Stop" and "Mierae, not on the table" and, of course, "Jolie, don't eat the crayons". This isn't just a Robyn thing, since today I was overseeing their water coloring and caught myself saying those same things in between cooking dinner and refilling their water dishes.
Robyn also takes her kids and husband to the goat farm, which is actually Yellow Springs Jersey Dairy, but not one of us actually stop to inspect the Jerseys, we are simply having too much fun feeding the goats and eating ice cream!
Roby also took us recently to our Primary activity at a homestead park way out west in Hilliard, OH, but we didn't get the memo that the activity was canceled due to rain. We still had a great time playing tag, running, and eating a picnic dinner.
Also, Robyn loves to give me great tips for what I can do with the girls while she is teaching. So, this first Wednesday in September, we went to the Frankin Conservatory, and very quickly saw plants from all kids of climates, but spent the majority of time playing with plastic renditions of Chihuly sculptures in wooden boats. If any one can tell me what those two have to do with each other, please let me know.
I realize this wasn't a super romantic or even great tribute to the love of my life, but I hope it makes you smile, Robyn. I love you.
P.S. Sorry if I stole your post. Wow, a whole hour just went by while I was drafting this post. I will never complain about your staying up until 2 am blogging. Well, I might complain again, but I appreciate your "family history".

Awww, what a sweet post! Yes, Robyn is a great mom!!!
Love it Eric! You got a great catch Robyn, but I'm sure you already knew that. Isn't it so fun to see husbands appreciate what we do? Sounds like you guys have a fun, busy life!
That was fun!! Thanks for sharing, Eric! :) I think I should make Devin do a post so he'll understand why I stay up late blogging! Ha!! :)
Aww Robyn, he's so sweet! Definitely a keeper.
Great post Eric! And a great wife you do have! (and yes, blogging does take forever...which is why many of us can't keep up!)
Cute!! Jolie looks so grown up these days!
Hey Eric! Long time no talk! I am happy to be able to explain the Chihuly/boat thing! Chihuly made all these great water sculptures all around the city Venice, and he's also done glass sculptures in boats around Europe and for some botanical gardens. The glass resembles objects you might find in the sea. Hope you're doing well.
