"Poster Child for Antibiotics"

Those were the doctor's exact words. She said them to me as soon as she walked into the examination room, and then said them again to Eric when he stepped in a minute later. Just look at this poor girl.

She looked even worse at the doctor's office. Because of the snow day yesterday, most places were closed, including the doctor's office. Jolie had to wait until the end of the work day today to go in. Besides the already apparent symptoms of runny/stuffy nose, cough, fever, discharge from both eyes, and aches, Jolie had an ear infection on top of that. Poor kid! The past few nights/nap times have been something like this:

At least she has her orange cream flavored amoxicillin now. She actually likes that stuff, compared to Ibuprofen and cough medicine anyway. We're looking forward to her recovery so that we can play with friends again and get back to this:

Good thing Eric would lay down with her. That always seems to comfort little kids when they are sick. I think parents enjoy it just as much. All that cuddling!!!
Hopefully it will pass this weekend and next week with be better.

I'm so sorry your girls are sick! That's no fun! Hopefully you guys are getting at least some sleep! I remember having eye infections when I was little and that stuff Mom would put in our eyes. I just hated it! I couldn't see! So hopefully you don't have to do that to your girls...:) Good luck!
