Happily Ever After

One of my all-time favorite pieces of classical music is "Romeo and Juliet" by Tchaikovsky. It's one that I could listen to over and over, and I could sing the whole thing too. Tchaikovsky also wrote music for other stories and fairy tales, including Swan Lake and the well-known Nutcracker Ballet. Tonight when I got home from teaching flute lessons, Mierae sat down at the table with Eric and me as we were eating dinner. Eric turned on a CD of Tchaikovksy's "Sleeping Beauty Suite" and we had Mierae tell us the story of Sleeping Beauty. We have the book, and we just got the new 50th anniversary edition DVD, so she knew her stuff. Here's what I got on camera.

We LOVED her ending! :) Hopefully all of us will get our own fairy tale endings and live happily ever after.

That's so fun!!!! I love being able to get things like that on film...and I think the kids will get a kick out of watching themselves when they're older, too! 'I love technology...' :)

Such a little princess! She reminds me so much of Macy! This is such a fun age. They have so much personality and the things they come up with are hilarious! Your blog looks very cute! I love your new background and all your links. I've been missing all of our good times as a presidency. Graeters, new sister visits, presidency meetings. I loved working with you! I wish I could get those days back sometimes.
