I think it is easiest for her to push the button when she is pointing the lens down! Maybe her aunt Sarah will have to give her some pointers?
Her creativity has also extended into how she plays with her toys. Just the other day we found her on the floor with her dolls. They were all ready for bed in their blankets (which were really mats from a Candyland game). We are very pleased to see Mierae embark on make-believe play. It not only keeps her brain active but gives us a break from having to always be the boredom buster. We still like to play together, though, especially when our need for enjoyment comes in the form of indoor camping and sliding on homemade slides.
If any of you are looking for ways to help your kids learn some useful and fun skills and to give them something to do, then we suggest you take them to Home Depot or Lowe’s for their build and learn craft projects. They get to make some neat things with wood, a hammer and some nails. The best part is that it is totally free! Jolie and Mommy had a great time, but Jolie loved stealing the hammer more than anything.

You guys are SO cute!
I didn't even know about those Home Depot projects. I can't wait until Erica is old enough to do those things. Any other great ideas for entertaining kids?
Oh, we like creative play at our house, too. It does get easier once the kiddies are a little older and able to do the creative play with each other! Josh and Claire can play happily together for an hour or more, and that is NICE!!!
Cute pictures Mierae!
Ha! I LOVED your budding "footagrapher's" pictures! She is such a doll - how funny and sweet - thanks for sharing such great every day things!
