Beautiful Weather

I have been including my most enjoyable moments of each day on my blog to help me follow Elder Ballard's counsel to young mothers to live in the moment. It has been so gratifying to me to review each day and think of how my relationships to Eric and my girls were strengthened that day and how I took time to enjoy small moments and improve myself. I was inspired after conference to start doing things I've been meaning to do, but haven't scheduled the time to do. New Year's resolutions don't really work for me. So, thank you conference for challenging me to be better.

The things I enjoyed most about my day:
Jolie napping from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm! :)
Playing with Mierae as we reviewed the alphabet on her See 'n Say
Watching Mierae and Jolie play outside with Ethan and Mason
Actually making dinner (I prepped it last night!)
Listening to Jolie babble as she ate and climbed around on the couch
Going on a family walk in the beautiful evening weather

I'm glad spring has finally found Ohio! I love your "living in the moment" idea. We all need to be reminded why we do what we do!

Good grief, Robyn!! I've gotten a little behind in reading your blog! I can't believe that Jolie is a year old! Sheesh! And I'm glad you were inspired by conference...conference is always inspiring! I can't wait until we get our conference DVD's (we got the dvd subscription along with the magazines...best idea we ever had...) so I can actually hear and see it! We watched last session's conference on conference Sunday, and I was sad thinking of all the talks we were missing...due to the fact that streaming is next to impossible on our connection, and the time difference makes hearing/watching live just that much more difficult anyway... but I'm looking forward to it very much!!!!! :)
