Getting into the Christmas spirit

Tonight we had a great time at the Upper Arlington tree lighting event. I can't believe we haven't been to one of these anywhere in Columbus since we've moved here. Mierae loved it. They had two reindeer out for all to see, ice sculpting, fires all around and kits to make s'mores (YUM--it's been a while since I've had s'mores!), musical performances, and horse-drawn carriage rides for a small cost. I wish we'd had our camera... The girls looked so cute all bundled up. It was great to get out as a family and see all the Christmas lights and get into the holiday spirit some more. We had hot chocolate with candy canes when we came home, just to give a great finish to our fun. We can't wait to see Wildlights at the zoo in another week or two! (We'll be sure to bring our camera to that one!)
